Novacom partners with Ecologi to plant 1,000 trees
At Novacom, we’re all about innovation, experience, and impactful action, and that ethos extends to how we reduce our impact on our planet. That’s why we’re proud to say that, through our continued partnership with Ecologi over the past 2 years, we have planted 1,000 trees and avoided 20 tonnes of CO2e – or Carbon Dioxide Equivalent.
We have dedicated time and resources over many years to ensure that our partnerships and sponsorships are intentional and meaningful, which perfectly describes the work that we support Ecologi to do.
Reduce, Restore, Report
Through Ecologi, we’re not just planting trees. We’re supporting verified reforestation and habitat restoration projects that deliver real-world environmental and social benefits.
Each activity and planted tree contributes to reducing carbon in the atmosphere, helping us to hit short- and long-term reduction targets. Actionable plans put in place by Ecologi enable us to help reduce emissions and care for our planet while our team focus on making innovative digital campaigns happen.
The trees we’ve funded go into projects that restore forests, wetlands, and native habitats in countries around the world, supporting biodiversity and local communities.
Thorough reporting also increases our transparency and accountability, allowing us to track where our trees are planted and how much carbon we’ve avoided.
How does this fit with Novacom’s ethos?
As a business, our environmental impact is low, but we are still conscious of the fact that all digital activity affects the world around us.
While many overlook the environmental effect of a ChatGPT search or an email blast, as digital experts, we know that all work has an impact on the world around us.
This knowledge has fuelled our desire to give back and support Ecologi to reduce emissions and restore habitats, alongside our other sustainability initiatives
