Dr Anna Keyes

Dr Anna Keyes is an assistant professor working with Centre for Sustainable Road Freight at Heriot Watt University. She previously completed a PhD at the Cambridge Centre for Climate Change Mitigation Research, University of Cambridge, then worked as a postdoctoral research associate in the Centre for two years. Her focus was the carbon emissions trajectory of the road freight sector, using quantitative and qualitative methods to produce a roadmap and scenarios for decarbonisation. She also contributed to the urban logistics modelling project.

Anna’s teaching includes a postgraduate Green and Sustainable Logistics course, which uses research material from the Centre. She also teaches a variety of quantitative analytical and research methods courses. Her research interests continue to centre on carbon emissions mitigation in the freight sector.
