In September, 2020, the Centre for Sustainable Road Freight held an online event entitled a \u2018Virtual Tour of Frankfurt eHighway Project\u2019<\/strong>.  (This event replaced a physical tour that was originally planned to take place in March, but was postponed due to the coronavirus lockdown.)<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The event included a wide range of perspectives on \u2018catenary trucking\u2019 \u2013 Electric Roads: from the points of view of the vehicle manufacturer, vehicle operator, infrastructure operator, and various researchers.  It also included a summary of the UK pilot project on catenary trucking that is being proposed by the Centre for Sustainable Road Freight (SRF).<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The centre has now put all the contents of the \u2018virtual tour\u2019 onto the SRF website for public access.  This includes the slides and videos of the presentations and videos of the demonstration site, as well as recordings of 3 Question and Answer sessions.  To access all of this content, free of charge, please click on this link<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
